My question is to the Minister for Racing.
Minister, it is now nine months since your government announced the Murrihy inquiry into allegations of race fixing and the conduct of Tasracing Lead Trainer of the Year the notorious Ben Yole.
The allegations are serious and go to the heart of integrity, or more to the point, a lack of integrity in the racing industry. These matters need to be resolved as a matter of urgency.
Minister when will Mr Murrihy complete his final report and will it be made public before GBE hearings this year so that Tasracing can be properly scrutinized over the findings of the report?
